Why call the brand "Saint Tiffany's"?

Updated: Feb 10, 2019

Tiffany has always been a fan of actress & icon Audrey Hepburn. When it was time to pick a brand name, she thought it'd be clever to include her own name while paying homage to one of her favorite movies, Breakfast at Tiffany's - which stars Hepburn. The actress's classic style,  ambitious personality, openness to change and humanitarian work, continue to inspire Tiffany on a regular basis.

The "Saint" in Saint Tiffany's has a two-fold meaning.  After deciding that she was going to turn her difficult journey into an opportunity to inspire people, Tiffany says she felt like she'd been given a second chance to make her life meaningful. Tiffany explains, "After I lost my legs I felt like part of my identity and possibilities were taken from me. It felt like a death. It was not easy for me to get out of that dark place, but with support, therapy and determination I was able to change my outlook." Coming into the light felt like a re-birth for her. She made it a point to help others feel that same new lease on life, especially after experiencing dark circumstances. Tiffany wanted to remind people of the purity and sacredness of  a life lived in purpose and positivity.  The second significance of "Saint" is a nod to Tiffany's love for travel. Like the islands of Saint Thomas or Saint Croix, Tiffany wanted to create a brand that felt like a must-visit destination.
